Tuscany Fresh Meats & Deli, which is located at 450 E. Main St., Fredonia, remains open and operational, but is accepting phone orders only.

“For the safety of our staff and community during this COVID-19 pandemic, we feel that closing our sales floor to the public is the safest and most responsible thing to do,” said company officials.

Here’s how it will work:

1. Call 716-672-2222. Someone will be happy to take your order. This means anything! Subs, deli meat, fresh meat, cheese, produce, dairy, groceries — you name it. One of the staff members will gather all of your groceries for you.

2. Next, one of the cashiers will call you back with a total for your order and accept your card payment over-the-phone. Tell them a pickup time that works for you.

3. When you arrive, come to the front doors and they will have your entire order ready-to-go!

“The health and safety of our community is our top priority. We plan to exclusively operate front door pickup for the foreseeable future, until the conditions of this pandemic subside and allow us to reopen our sales floor. We ask for your understanding and kindness during this time, we’re still figuring it all out,” stated company officials.
