Parking hearing canceled The public hearing on parking changes in the village of Fredonia, scheduled for 5 p.m. today, has been canceled until further notice. The village made the announcement on its website. Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on July 14 with 22 people in attendance. VFW Auxiliary sets upcoming plans SHERIDAN — The VFW Auxiliary of Sheridan Post 6390 met on Monday. During its meeting several items were discussed. Members' dues are payable starting now and no later than Dec. 31. The next District 6 meeting will be on Sept. 12 starting at 11 a.m. There will be a veterans' dinner at the post sometime in October and the auxiliary will offer assistance with that.
