Chicken barbecue benefits pantries A chicken barbecue will be today at the D & F Plaza from 11:30 a.m. until sold out. It is sponsored by Forestville Chapter 247, Order of the Eastern Star, State of New York. Cost is $15 for a full dinner and $10 for a half chicken and roll with butter. Barker Library is excited to announce its next local art exhibition, “Prelude to Artopia.” A sophisticated prelude to the annual Artopia Auction and Gala (formerly Art and Wine) happening this Oct. 16, “Prelude to Artopia” features exceptional pieces available for acquisition, celebrating artists with developmental disabilities and empowering their voices through art. Stockton Fire Department to celebrate 105 years STOCKTON — On Saturday, Stockton will be celebrating 105 years of service to the community and surrounding areas.
