It’s pie time again!

WESTFIELD – Nothing says Summer like a slice of fresh, seasonal fruit pie. Again this summer, the Westfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will have its Pie Tent at the Annual Westfield Arts & Crafts Show to be held in Moore Park on July 27 and 28. A vast assortment of pies will be available from 9 a.m. until sold out. Patrons can buy a slice of pie and take a seat around the table in the tent to savor it, or take a whole pie home for the family. All proceeds will be used to further on-going projects at Westfield Memorial Hospital.

As usual, members are also requesting the help of all the wonderful pie bakers in the community. Whether an Auxiliary member or not, the group would be delighted to have donated pies. All pies are acceptable except those that require refrigeration such as cream or custard pies. Monetary donations are also gratefully accepted. This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year and the Auxiliary is so appreciative of all the community support given. With questions, contact Jean McCausland at 326-3527 or 581-1639.
