Dunkirk Moose hosts cruise night

Dunkirk Moose Lodge #89, 296 Lake Shore Drive, West, will host a cruise night on Monday, Aug. 13. The Rain dates will be the following Monday. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 and two $25 cash prizes. Hot dogs, hamburgers and sausages as well as beverages will be available for purchase. All antique, classic, muscle cars, street rods as well as motorcycles and spectators are welcome.

The Salvation Army plans special events

The Salvation Army has a summer fun days and a Healthy Relationships conference planned for August.

A summer fun day will take place today, at 704 Central Ave., Dunkirk from noon to 3 p.m. It will feature free summer family fun events including food, bounce houses, games and fun give-aways.

The Salvation Army presents: The Healthy Relationships Conference, on Friday, Aug. 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Peek’N Peak Resort, 1405 Old Road, Clymer. This free conference is open to professionals and community members. This year’s keynote is focusing on human trafficking. In addition, workshops will focus on human trafficking, parenting, and domestic violence/sexual assault. This event is completely free.
