Lighthouse ghost tour set for Saturday
The Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse is hosting a ghost tour open to the public on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are $30 per person. Sign up at: dunkirklighthouse.com or call the lighthouse at 366-5050 for more information.
Thayer Road to be closed Monday and Tuesday
Portland Highway Superintendent Kenneth Becker would like to inform Town of Portland residents that Thayer Road from Farr Road to Dean Road will be closed to all through traffic on Monday, July 15 to Tuesday, July 16 for blacktopping, weather permitting. Possible rain dates will be announced at a later date.
