Tree Inventory and Forestry Management Public Meeting

With the support of Mayor Rosas, City of Dunkirk Planning and Development staff invites the community to a public meeting to learn more about Dunkirk’s upcoming Tree Inventory and Forestry Management project. This project, funded by a grant from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, is to complete a comprehensive tree inventory survey and management plan for the City of Dunkirk’s parks, streets, and land and will kick-off in August. The goal of the project is to create a tree inventory and management plan that can serve as the foundation for increased community investment and the future care of the city’s community forest.

The meeting will take place in the Mayor’s Conference Room at City Hall, located at 342 Central Ave., on Monday July 29 at 4 p.m. For more information, contact Jill Meaux, Community Development Planner at 366-9878 or jmeaux@cityofdunkirk.com.
