Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will meet on Aug. 8

The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will meet at 7 p.m. at the Cassadaga Library, 18 Maple Ave., Cassadaga on Thursday, Aug. 8. The upcoming Labor Day Festival will be discussed. Volunteers needed! All area residents are encouraged to attend.

Portion of Route 380 to be closed Friday

County Road 380 in the town of Stockton between Lord and Cemetery roads will be closed to all traffic Friday, Aug. 9, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. A Detour will not be posted.

Chautauqua Opportunities Alzheimer’s Services

Do you know or care for someone experiencing memory loss? Come to an educational workshop called Dementia Basics. Learn what dementia means and what the different types of dementia are. The workshop will be held Monday, Aug. 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Darwin Barker Library, 7 Day St., Fredonia.
