Chautauqua Opportunities Alzheimer’s Services is having a Savvy Caregiver Series. Are you a care partner for someone who has Alzheimer’s disease or another related dementia? Are you looking for ways to increase your knowledge and confidence in this role? Classes are FREE of charge. Participate in “The Savvy Caregiver,” a three part training session to learn how to be a Savvy Caregiver! Gain: A better understanding of the disease, the skills to assess the abilities of the person with dementia, and the confidence to set and alter care giving goals. This series will take place at the Mayville Library 92 S. Erie St., Mayville from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 5, 12 and 19.
