County Genealogical Society to meet Tuesday

The holiday meeting of the Chautauqua County Genealogical Society will be held Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post 59 156 E. Main (Route 20) in Fredonia. Members and guests will enjoy pizza, fruit, veggie and cheese trays and beverages. A meeting will be held with the election of new officers. Bring a family story, local or family artifact, printed material to share, or pertinent information of local interest or family genealogy. Members are asked to bring a holiday dessert. SOAR Chapter 4-1 meeting and lunch Tuesday

SOAR Chapter 4-1 will hold its next meeting and lunch on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at noon at the United Steelworkers Local Union 2693 Union Hall, 97 E. Fourth St., Dunkirk. Retirees of all unions are welcome.
