146th Blodgett and 133rd Pierce/Landas Reunion set for Saturday

STOCKTON — The 146th Blodgett and 133rd Pierce/Landas family reunion will be held Saturday at noon at the Chautauqua County Firemen’s Picnic Grounds, 4641 Railroad Ave., Stockton. Those attending should bring their own bag lunch and beverage, mask and maybe gloves. Also bring any information about personal genealogy as well as recent births, marriages and deaths to compare and add to/change, what the family has in the family genealogy.

Be prepared to discuss what we want to do for the 150th Blodgett reunion in 2024. Bring addresses and e-mail addresses for everyone in the family 18 years old and above. In the chance that family members won’t attend, send a letter with the family’s genealogical information as well as recent births, marriages, deaths, to Douglas Nelson, 956 Forest Ave., Jamestown, NY 14701 or email to dnelson19@stny.rr.com.

Willow Mission distributing food Monday

Willow Mission will be open on Monday for food only, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.. Pick up will be at the parking lot door. No IDs are needed and recipients must wear mask. Willow Mission and Dunkirk First United Methodist Church is located at 601 Washington Ave.

Portland board meets Aug. 12

PORTLAND –The Town Board will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 12 in the Portland Town Hall. Social distancing and face mask are required. You may also listen or ask questions for this meeting by dial-in 1-978-990-5113, when prompted, enter access code 2085786.

Cassadaga board meets Aug. 12

CASSADAGA — The Cassadaga Village Board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12 in the village office. The public is welcome to attend.

Land Bank meets Aug. 12

The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday via Zoom. The Acquisition/Disposition Committee will meet just prior, at 8:30 a.m. to review purchase proposals.
