Dunkirk School Board to hold parent meetings

The Dunkirk Board of Education will hold a series of parent meetings through Facebook live to discuss the reopening plans of the district.

All meetings are being held on Aug. 18 and will run at various times throughout the day. The first is from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., the second will be 1-2 p.m. and the last from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Parents will be able to type their questions as the meeting is taking place. Individuals who wish to submit questions should email them to parentmeeting@g.dunkirkcsd.org.

JCC Board of Trustees held Tuesday

Reed staff to be in Fredonia Tuesday

A member of U.S. Rep. Tom Reed’s staff will be at the Fredonia Village Hall, 9-11 Church St., Fredonia, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18. Staff will be available to answer questions, gather feedback, and provide assistance with immigration, Social Security, veterans’ benefits, and other issues related to federal agencies.
