Southern Tier TEA Party to meet

The Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Lakewood American Legion, 174 Chautauqua Ave. A major topic of discussion will cover the directive by President Donald Trump to ban critical race theory training sessions in offices of the federal government, including the U.S military. Also cultural Marxism as a relatively new form of Marxism will be covered. There will also be a follow-up to the informative discussion the county election commissioners shared last month on voting. The public is welcome to attend.

Stockton-Hartfield bridge to be closed

County Bridge 68 on Hartfield-Stockton Road, Route 310, in Stockton between Meadows Road and Coes Road will be closed to all traffic effective 8 a.m. Wednesday for a culvert rehabilitation project. A detour will be posted. The closure shall remain in effect until said culvert repairs are completed and the barricades and signs are removed.

IDA to meet

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, electronically via live stream on YouTube. Members of the public may view the board meeting by visiting YouTube and searching “County of Chautauqua IDA.” Once on the webpage, viewers can click on videos to watch the live stream. Minutes will be transcribed and posted on the IDA’s website, once approved by the board. The agenda for the meeting will be posted to ccida.com under “News” and “Agenda” prior to the start of the meeting. The Chautauqua Region Economic Development Corporation board will meet immediately following the IDA meeting.

Sinclairville Evergreen Cemetery Association to meet

SINCLAIRVILLE — The annual lot owners’ meeting of the Sinclairville Evergreen Cemetery Association will be held on Monday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. in the Sinclairville Fire Hall. Two trustees will be determined. CDC guidelines will be observed.
