Dunkirk Labor Council announces endorsements

The Dunkirk Labor Council met on Tuesday, Sept. 15 and endorsed the following candidates: Christina Cardinale, state 150th Assembly; PJ Wendel for Chautauqua County executive; Patrick Swanson for Chautauqua County’s district attorney; and Phillip Collier for Chautauqua County Legislator District 1.

Presentation Thursday on Complete Streets Project in city

Dunkirk Mayor Wilfred Rosas and the Dunkirk’s Planning and Development Department in partnership with consultant’s Erdman Anthony will hold a public presentation in regards to the Lake Shore Drive Complete Streets Project on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the James Murphy Fireman’s Training Grounds Facility located at 665 Brigham Road in Dunkirk.

The purpose of the public meeting is to present design alternatives for improvements proposed for the Lake Shore Drive corridor between Main Street and Brigham Road and address questions and comments from the community.
