Last day to pay sewer and water bills, Oct. 16

Town of Hanover water and sewer customers, and Forestville water customers are notified that Oct. 16 is the last day for payment of any outstanding sewer and water bills. Any unpaid accounts will be forwarded to Chautauqua County to be added to their 2021 town/county taxes. Payment can be made by mail or in person at the Hanover Town Hall, 68 Hanover St., Silver Creek, during normal business hours.

Westfield Quilters Guild begins meetings in Oct.

WESTFIELD — Beginning in October, monthly Westfield Quilters Guild meetings will take place on the second Saturday of the month at the YWCA in Westfield. Coffee and visitation will start at 9:30 a.m. with the meeting starting at 10 a.m. Plan to stay for lunch following the meeting, then hang around for an afternoon of open sew until 3 p.m.
