Ripley school board meets Thursday

RIPLEY — The Ripley Central School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the Ripley Central School cafeteria. Social distancing will be practiced and masks must be worn.

Virtual pajama party Friday for Girl Scouts

The Girl Scouts of Western New York will host a virtual pajama party from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16. The Zoom Party is for girls entering kindergarten through sixth grade living in Western New York who are not currently registered Girl Scouts. Girls are invited to wear their pajamas and Girl Scouts staff will host games, sing songs, have dancing, an activity and scavenger hunt. CVCS board meets Tuesday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Cassadaga Valley Central School District Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Middle-High School multi-purpose room. Social distancing will be enforced. The public is welcome to attend.

Fredonia Food Pantry opens Saturday

On Saturday, Oct. 17, the Fredonia Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. until noon at Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 219 Central Ave. The pantry serves the needs of residents of Fredonia, area code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan, and Laona. All guests receive one or more bags of non-perishable food. Number of bags given out depends on family size.
