Westfield scouts to hold returnable bottle/can drive

WESTFIELD — On Monday, members of Boy Scout Troop 201 will be collecting returnable bottles and cans to help fund their activities. The Westfield scouts will be collecting at the Presbyterian Church from 6-8 p.m. “The boys will be wearing masks and people only need to drive up. No one gets out of the car– the boys will unload and do all the work,” said Troop Leader Dan Scriven. “It’s the perfect fundraiser for a socially distant world.” Like their counterparts around the area, the Westfield boys were unable to meet for months, and are just beginning to make plans for activities again.
