Holiday to affect City Hall, rubbish collection

Dunkirk City Hall will be closed on Friday for New Year’s Day.

As per the 2020 Curbside Collection Schedule, rubbish in the Friday collection zone (District D) will be picked up on Saturday.

Copies of the Curbside Collection Schedule, which are valid until Feb. 28 are still available in the City Clerk’s Office, City Treasurer’s Office & Public Works Department as well as the city’s website www.cityofdunkirk.com.

Hanover Town Board to meet Wednesday

The Hanover Town Board will be holding its year-end meeting, via Zoom conferencing, at 4 p.m. Wednesday. There will be no workshop meeting prior to the board meeting.

Mayville Village Board moves location

MAYVILLE — The Mayville Village Board of Trustees meeting will be held at the gym at the Town of Chautauqua building, 2 Academy Street Mayville (the old Mayville school) on Jan. 12 at 7 p.m., which is the same time as regular meeting.
