Chicken dinner benefits senior class
SILVER CREEK — The community is invited to support a drive-through style Weidner’s Chicken Barbecue dinner fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 25, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the band doors of Silver Creek Central School District, 1 Dickinson St., Silver Creek. All proceeds support the Class of 2021.
The meal includes a half chicken, buttered spuds, tossed salad and a fresh-baked roll.
Presale tickets cost $11 for one dinner or $20 for two dinners if ordered by Tuesday, Feb. 16. Presale tickets are available from seniors starting Tuesday. If you don’t know a senior, please contact senior class advisers Mr. Paul Abate at pabate@silvercreekschools.org or Mr. Mark Baldelli at mbaldelli@silvercreekschools.org for tickets. Tickets at the door cost $12 per meal and there will be a limited number available Feb. 25.
Sewer District members to meet
Members of the North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 2 Academy St. in the village of Mayville at the town of Chautauqua meeting room. Due to social distancing and COVID precautions, the public may only attend the through a phone conference number. To attend the meeting, call the district office at 753-7787 to be given the conference number and access code before the meeting.
Village Board meeting canceled
SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Village Board meeting scheduled for Monday has been canceled in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
