Dunkirk Senior Center announces updates

The Dunkirk Senior Center has resumed pinochle. Pinochle will be every Monday and Friday at 1 p.m. Tai Chi will be held on Tuesday and Thursday at 3 p.m..

The January and February birthday lunch will be held on Feb. 24. Stop by the Center to register for the luncheon. Exercise class will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m.

Stop by the Center to guess the number of bottle caps.

County Planning Board meets Feb. 2

The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s monthly meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, via videoconferencing, as permitted by the state Open Meetings Law. CVCS holds special board meeting

The Cassadaga Valley Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the middle-high school multi-purpose room. Social distancing will be enforced. The sole purpose of the meeting is to discuss the superintendent’s evaluation process.

Westfield Village Board meets Feb. 2

The Westfield Village Board will meet virtually at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, to consider a resolution authorizing the Fire Department of Westfield to apply for a 2020-21 FEMA Grant in the amount of $625,000 to replace the Westfield Fire Department’s 1996 Pumper-Tanker. The grant requires a 5% community match or $31,250 in matching funds.
