Senior Center announces schedule

The Dunkirk Senior Center is holding exercise class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. Tai Chi is being held every Tuesday and Thursday at 3 p.m.

Pinochle is being held every Monday and Friday at 1 p.m. Dues are being collected for the 2021 year — Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The January and February Birthday lunch will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24. Please stop at the Center to register if you are interested in attending.

The winner of the January bottle cap guess was Lorri Pitts. Lorri guessed 1,200 bottle caps. The actual amount was 1,280. Congratulations, Lorri! Members are encouraged to stop by the Center to try their luck at the February “red” bottle cap guess.

The Senior Center will be having “Social Time at the Center” starting on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 11:30 a.m. Please bring your own lunch and some fun conversation.

Chautauqua County Health Department utilized the Senior Center for COVID-19 vaccinations. The Senior Center does not have the ability to make an appointment for anyone. Contact New York State at 1-833-697-4829 for information on how to make an appointment.

CVCS holds budget session Monday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Cassadaga Valley Central School Board will hold a budget work session at 6 p.m. Monday in the middle-high school multi-purpose room. A public hearing for the Smart Schools Investment Plan will be held at 7:15 p.m. The regular monthly meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Social distancing will be enforced.
