Hanover water bills mailed

Town of Hanover water bills have been mailed and are due by April 1, 2021.

New water rates will be reflected in the August water billing and are as follows: Water District #1 In District — $4.15; Water District No. 1 Out District — $7.60; Water District No. 2 In District — $9.70; Water District No. 2 Out District — $10.70.

Blood drive set for Saturday in Gowanda

GOWANDA — Gowanda Harley-Davidson is holding a ConnectLife blood drive on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2535 Gowanda Zoar Road. The community is encouraged to donate to help ensure that blood products are available for local patients in need at local hospitals.

“We’ve had 2 great events with ConnectLife and love hearing that our community steps up and delivers for them,” said Shane Steward, marketing director for Gowanda Harley-Davidson. “We want to drive donations as well which is why we are giving $5 Gowanda Harley-Davidson store coupons to donors to thank them for making us proud!”

ConnectLife is the primary supplier of blood products for Kaleida Health, ECMC, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, Eastern Niagara Health, Wyoming County Community Health System, Brooks-TLC Health Network, Olean General Hospital and Bradford Regional Medical Center. All blood ConnectLife collects stays in your community, and each donor has the potential to save up to three lives.

Collins 50 Plus Seniors announce activity schedule

COLLINS — The March 7 through 12 activity schedule for the Collins 50 Plus Seniors includes:

¯ Sunday, March 7: Pickle Ball at 6:30 p.m. in the L.K. Painter Center gym.

¯ Monday, March 8: Exercises with Pat at 10 a.m. in the Painter Center gym.

¯ Tuesday, March 9: Active Senior Aerobics with Kim at 9 a.m. in the Painter Center gym for a small fee.

¯ Wednesday, March 10: Exercises with Pat at 10 a.m. in the Painter Center gym; senior bowling at 1 p.m. in the K & L Lanes in Gowanda (with a small fee for bowling). (Call K & L Lanes to verify if open).

¯ Thursday, March 11: Yoga with Caroline at 10 a.m. in the Painter Center gym for a small fee; Pickle Ball at 11 a.m. in the Painter Center gym.

¯ Friday, March 5: Toning with Kim at 9 a.m. in the Painter Center gym for a small fee; Exercises with Pat at 10 a.m. in the Painter Center gym; Community Service at 1 p.m.in the Painter Center Rose Room.
