CVCS enrollment has begun

Enrollment is currently under way for the Cassadaga Valley’s 2021-2022 Kindergarten and Universal Pre-Kindergarten programs at Sinclairville Elementary School.

The UPK Program is available to children who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2021. Parents/Guardians of children who meet this age requirement should have received the enrollment forms in the mail. If you have not received the enrollment forms, please use the contact information below to request copies. There are no income eligibility restrictions for families residing within the school district.

We would like to encourage parents/guardians of children eligible to start kindergarten in the fall, who are not currently enrolled in our UPK program, to register their child for school as soon as possible. This applies to children who will be five years old on or before December 1, 2021.

Seniors meet for lunch Tuesday

BROCTON — The Brocton Portland Seniors will meet Tuesday at for a chili lunch at the John W. Dill Post 434 American Legion in Brocton. Social protocols will be upheld.

Boat America class this weekend

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Dunkirk Flotilla 3-4 is offering the Boat America Class online on March 27-28 and again April 17-18. Classes are from noon to 4 p.m. The class qualifies for the eight-hour state Boating Safety Certificate and Jet Skis. Students must complete two consecutive Zoom sessions and exam to receive their state boating certificate. The class costs $30 and includes a book. For more information email USCGAUX9ER34@gmail.com. Spring is Here craft show set

GOWANDA — The Gowanda Loyal Order Of Moose 1382 at 201 Aldrich St. will host a Spring is Here craft show Saturday starting at 9 a.m.

Items at the event include: purses, jewelry, towels, quilts, Norwex, Watkins, gourmet greations, sweets and treats, masks, candles, art work, pampered chef, tastefully simple, tupperware, chocolate, baked goods and much more. Lunch will be available. COVID protocols will be in place as social distancing will be practiced and masks must be worn.
