Sons of American Legion Squad 59 to meet

The Sons of American Legion Squad 59 will be holding their monthly meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Post 59, 156 E. Main St., Fredonia.

Committee nominations for fiscal ’21-22 will be discussed. Positions are: Commander, 1st Vice Commander, 2nd Vice Commander, Adjutant, Finance Manager, Historian, Chaplain and Sgt. at Arms. Plans will be discussed and finalized for a late spring fundraiser.

All SAL are encouraged to attend the meetings which are held on the second Tuesday of every month.

COLLINS — The April 11 through 16 activity schedule for the Collins 50 Plus Seniors includes:

Sunday, April 11: Pickle Ball at 6 p.m. in the L.K. Painter Center gym.

Monday, April 12: Exercises with Pat at 10 a.m. in the Painter Center gym.

Tuesday, April 13: Active Senior Aerobics with Kim at 9 a.m. in the Painter Center gym for a small fee.

Wednesday, April 14: Exercises with Pat at 10 a.m. in the Painter Center gym; Games & Crafts w/Pat at 1 p.m. in the Painter Center Rose Room; Senior Bowling at 1 p.m. in the K & L Lanes in Gowanda (with a small fee for bowling).

Thursday, April 15: no Yoga today; Pickle Ball at 11 a.m. in the Painter Center gym.

Friday, April 16: Toning with Kim has been canceled for the remainder of the 8 week session; Exercises with Pat at 10 a.m. in the Painter Center gym.

Vietnam Veterans meet Sunday

Members of Chapter No. 459 of the Vietnam Veterans of America will meet at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 11, at the John T. Murray VFW Post No. 1017, 113 Deer St., Dunkirk. Social distancing will be required and face masks must be worn.
