Ripley to hold capital presentation

RIPLEY — The Ripley Central School Board will be hosting a capital project presentation at 6 p.m. Thursday in the cafeteria. A regular meeting of the school board will be held immediately after the presentation.

Sept. 11 ceremony set for city

The Dunkirk Fire Department and Dunkirk Professional Firefighters Local 616 will be holding its annual Sept. 11 ceremony at fire headquarters, 311 Eagle St., at 9 a.m. Saturday Members of the public are invited to attend. Any unvaccinated members of the public in attendance must wear a mask.

Genealogical Society to meet

CASSADAGA — The Chautauqua County Genealogical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, in the Cassadaga American Legion on Maple Avenue in the village. President Gail Dash said the program will be conducted by several members on their latest research. Members are encouraged to attend, and new members are welcome. COVID-19 restrictions will be observed.
