Beautification Committee to meet
Revitalize Dunkirk’s Beautification Committee will meet Tuesday, April 19, at 10 a.m. at the Fredonia Technology Incubator in room 127 to share details of its planned spring activities including a Pier & Boardwalk gardens clean-up project, a city-wide trash clean-up event and the annual fund-raising plant sale. Lily Dale Loan fund established
LILY DALE — Lily Dale has established the Lily Dale Equity Loan Fund to help residents struggling to pay the costs for new water service lines to their homes to finance home improvement projects, including water hook ups to our new water system. The program is being offered by Home HeadQuarters, a non-profit housing and community development organization, founded in 1996 to address the declining housing situation in Syracuse. Home HeadQuarters serves residents throughout New York, focusing on initiatives and programs to create equitable housing and financing opportunities for under-served people.
Westfield Seniors to gather
WESTFIELD — The Westfield Senior Citizens will meet on Thursday, April 21, at the YWCA in Westfield. Dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. and will be provided by the Westfield Women’s Organization. The guest speaker will be Mark Cunningham, with information on the many scams and shams that face seniors.
