continuing hot dog sales

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 733 Central Ave., Dunkirk, will continue its hot dog sales every Friday until the end of October, weather permitting, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hot dog, chips and beverage are $3. Chili dog, chips and beverage are $4.

Coffee Club to meet

The Roblin Steel Coffee Club will meet on Friday, Aug. 12 at Demetri’s in Dunkirk at 8:30 a.m.

Sunset Bay Experience set for Aug. 20

The Sunset Bay Experience, Reach the Beach 5K fund-raiser will be held Saturday, Aug. 20 at Sunset Bay, Irving. Registration for the 5K starts at 8:30 a.m, with the race beginning at 9:30 a.m. There will also be crafters and vendors, a basket raffle, a wagon of cheer raffle, 50/50, a live band, food and drink specials at Cabana Sams.
