Driver Safety Class
scheduled for October
An AARP Driver Safety Class will be held Tuesday, Oct. 3 and Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. Participants must attend both days. New York State requires the six-hour course to obtain the certificate. The class will be held at the Dunkirk Senior Center, 45 Franklin Ave., Dunkirk. Call 716 366-7530 to register. The class is limited to 30 participants.
Portland Fire District
considering 2024 budget
The Board of Commissioners of the Portland Fire District will be holding a 2024 Budget Workshop on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Fire Station. As always the public is welcome to attend the meeting.
