Tuesday meeting

CASSADAGA – Auxiliary Unit 1280 of the Cassadaga American Legion will hold its December meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Legion hall. Member dues for 2024 need to be paid. All unit members are encouraged to attend.

Fredonia Ukulele

gathers Saturday

Fredonia Ukulele is offering an open invitation to the community Saturday at Domus Fare Restaurant, 41 W. Main St. from 6 to 8 p.m. Play immediately (all ability levels); no experience necessary. The group is about making music as a community. Play some favorite holiday songs! Ukuleles provided or bring your own. Participants can come and go as they please.

Bills Boosters

to cheer on team

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday at the Moniuszko Club. Pulled pork sandwiches will be provided at halftime.Members may bring a dish to pass. Game time is 4:25 p.m.

Fly tying meeting

set for Mondays

SINCLAIRVILLE – Country Kids on the Fly will meet at the Sinclairville Free Library, 15 Main St., on Mondays, Dec. 11 and 18 at 6 p.m. This is a free program for ages 8 and up to learn fly tying techniques.

All tools and materials will be provided. Parents must accompany youngsters to the first meeting to fill out and sign important papers. Adults are welcome too! First United Presbyterian Church of Dunkirk second Advent Recital

The First United Presbyterian Church of Dunkirk, 19 W. Fourth St., will present the second in a series of three weekly Marsh Memorial Advent Recitals for 2023.

On Wednesday at noon in the church sanctuary Brendan Mathewson, Aaron Mecham, and Boaz Mecham will perform. They will be showcasing a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary, featuring compositions by J.S. Bach, Rheinberger, Alfred Fedak, and more. This free musical program is designed to provide members of the church community and the general public with an opportunity for a period of peaceful reflection and contemplation during the hour at mid-week, throughout the Advent and Lenten seasons.
