Church holds final

can, bottle drive

The Blessed Mary Angela Parish Holy Name Society will hold one final event at the St. Hedwig Social Center. On Saturday, the society will sponsor one final can and bottle drive at the Parish Center going from 9 a.m. to noon. All proceeds will be used to refurbish the kitchen at the Lord’s Vineyard school, the former St. Hyacinth school.

Please bring your donations to the front door of the social center at 325 Townsend St. in Dunkirk.

The Diocese of Buffalo has announced the closing of the Blessed Mary Angela, St. Hedwig site after the final Mass on Sunday June 8.

The Blessed Mary Angela Holy Name Society would like to thank everyone for their support.

Chicken barbecue

set for Sunday

SINCLAIRVILLE — Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting its famous Chicken Barbecue on Sunday at noon. Meals are $15 and include half chicken, scalloped potatoes, roll, pickles, fruit cup, and cookie. Coffee and water available. Chicken halves are also available for $8 apiece. Parking available, take out or dine in.
