Author to be at bookstore Saturday

Romance author Joan Wahl will be appearing at the Next Chapter Bookstore on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wahl is a lifelong resident of Chautauqua County. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and secretary at the Jamestown law firm of Wright Calimeri, PLLC.

She first traveled to Music City in 2015 to visit filming locations from the television show Nashville and fell in love with the city. Combined with her love of country music and Hallmark movies, Wahl decided to pen a series of novels based in Nashville. Book one, “Summer Love in Music City,” is about the girl next door, a small-town librarian, who falls in love with a famous country music star.

Her life and the lives of her family members are all affected, especially her twin sister, Autumn, the main female character in book two, “Falling for Autumn.” Both books will be available for purchase. Wahl’s real-life experiences in Nashville bring an authentic feel to her novels. She is busy working on the third book in the series.
