Bagged leaf pickup starts Monday in city

City of Dunkirk Department of Public Works announces that bagged leaf pickup will begin with once daily city-wide sweeps starting Monday. Only bagged leaves will be picked up in this first sweep. Leaves barreled or left loose at the curb will be picked up in the next sweep at a later date to be announced. Bills Booster Club gathers Sunday

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins game on Sunday at the First Ward Falcon Club. Game time is 1 p.m. Beef stew will be provided.

Sons of Legion meet Tuesday

BROCTON — The Sons of the Legion, Brocton squad 434, will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday. The meeting is held at the Brocton American Legion starting at 7 pm. Members are encouraged to attend.

Villenova Burial Association sets fall meeting

SOUTH DAYTON — The 2025 annual fall meeting of the Villenova Burial Association will be Monday, at 6:30 p.m. at the Villenova Town Hall, 1094 Butcher Road, South Dayton.

This is a member meeting for anyone who owns a lot or has a family member buried in the Villenova Cemetery. As a member, you are a part of the VBA and responsible for the Cemetery’s future operation and upkeep.
