Chicken barbecue set for Sunday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting their first Chicken Barbecue of the year on Sunday. This is a fundraising event. Serving begins at noon until sold out. A full meal consists of half chicken, scalloped potatoes, roll, applesauce, pickle, and a beverage for $15. Chicken halves are also available for $8 each. Parking is available behind the firehall. Donations are also appreciated.

No Bingo on March 31 at St. Joseph’s

There will be no Bingo at St. Joseph’s in Fredonia on Tuesday, March 31. It will resume the following Tuesday.

VFW Auxiliary meeting change

SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek VFW Auxiliary 6472 will change its April meeting night to Wednesday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Samuel Cimino Post, 13 Main St. This change is for the April meeting only. Members will assemble to elect officers for the coming year. Attendance is strongly encouraged.

Legion plans monthly meeting

The Sons of The American Legion Post 59 in Fredonia will have its monthly meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
