Sons of Revolution gather Saturday

STOCKTON — The Chautauqua Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) will be meeting Saturday at the Stockton Hotel. The meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. We hope to have updates on the Patriot Marker Program and the History Expo coming up this summer.

The Sons of the American Revolution is a lineage society for those who can trace their ancestry to the Patriots who fought for freedom or otherwise supported the fight for liberty. If you are interested in becoming a member, or have an interest in our country’s history, you are invited to join us.

Legion Auxiliary meets Tuesday

CASSADAGA — The Cassadaga Legion Auxiliary will hold its April meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Legion Hall, 228 Maple Ave. All Unit members are encouraged to attend.

Sons of Legion sets meeting

BROCTON — The Sons of the American Legion Brocton, will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday. Meetings are at the Brocton Legion starting at 7 p.m. Nominations for the election of officers will be held at this meeting. Any member wishing to run for office should attend the meeting or notify another member of their interest. All members are encouraged to attend.

Ripley school board to meet Thursday

RIPLEY — A regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Ripley Central School District will be on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Office (Room 119) of the Ripley Central School for the purpose of any and all items that come before the board.

Humane Society sets monthly membership meeting
