Church planning rummage sale Trinity Episcopal Church Women Fall Rummage sale will be Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Church planning Saturday dinner St. John’s Church, 733 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, will hold a Swiss Steak dinner on Saturday, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The dinner includes dessert. Wdowiasz proclaims disability employment awareness month Dunkirk Mayor Kate Wdowiasz has proclaimed October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month in the city. The month “celebrates the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities and raises awareness about the value of a workforce inclusive of their skills and talents,” according to Wdowiasz’s proclamation.
