The Chautauqua County Department of Health on Wednesday reported 12 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which nine are tied to the State University of New York at Fredonia.

There remains 122 active cases as well as 497 county residents under quarantine or isolation. In addition, there are 242 people under domestic traveler quarantine for having arrived in the county from a state listed on the state travel advisory list.

Two people with COVID-19 remain hospitalized as of Monday in addition to 402 total recoveries, 10 deaths, 534 confirmed cases and 37,294 negative test results.
