Chautauqua County hospitalization have increased, according to the most recent COVID-19 numbers announced by the Health Department.

As of Monday, there were 20 new cases with 165 active. Those hospitalized increased from seven on Sunday to 12 on Monday. In all, there have been 8,540 total cases with 8,233 recoveries.

Also of note was the positivity rate, which fell from 2.6% over the weekend to 2.2% Monday.
