Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department fire investigators are looking into the cause of a Saturday evening barn fire that destroyed a structure and then started a grass and woods blaze nearby in Pomfret.

Fredonia Fire Department, Dunkirk Fire Department and several others were dispatched to the fully involved fire around 9:15 p.m. Saturday at 8799 Concord Drive. Rich Telford of the county fire investigation team said officers were at the scene Sunday morning to try and determined he cause.
