SILVER CREEK — Franklinville/Ellicottville wrapped up the No. 1 seed for the Section VI Class D playoffs with a 50-13 victory over Silver Creek/Forestville on Saturday afternoon.

The Titans (5-0, 5-0) led 36-0 at halftime to lock up a home game Friday against No. 4 Randolph. No. 3 Salamanca will travel to No. 2 Portville in Friday’s other semifinal.

Wyatt Chudy, Logan Frank and Clayton Rowland ran for first-quarter touchdowns before Rowland returned a fumble and scored on another run in the second quarter.

Rowland capped his three-touchdown day with a 4-yard run in the third quarter as the Titans’ lead grew to 43-0.

Sam Braidich caught a 27-yard touchdown and returned a fumble 39 yards for Silver Creek/Forestville’s other touchdown.

Jamison Caldwell capped the scoring with a 15-yard touchdown catch from Lucas Marsh.

Franklinville/Ellicottville outgained the Black Knights 489-132 and had 25 first downs.

Frank ran 11 times for 128 yards while Rowland had 10 carries for 125 yards. Rowland intercepted two passes; Chudy had an interception; Ben Brol and Everette Leonard each were in on 5 1/2 tackles; and Ethan Frank had a sack for the Titans.

Matt Woleben had 67 yards passing with a touchdown for Silver Creek/Forestville (2-3, 1-3).
