Motorist crashes into tree near city motel

A Dunkirk Police Department officer directs traffic on Lake Shore Drive West Thursday afternoon after a vehicle smashed into a tree. The accident happened just after 1 p.m. across the street from the Dunkirk Motel. The car’s driver was treated by Alstar Ambulance. The Dunkirk Fire Department also responded.
