Two charged in Forestville drug investigation

FORESTVILLE – Two men are facing drug charges after cocaine and fentanyl were seized in the hamlet.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation into narcotics activity for the past five months in Forestville ended on Friday with narcotics investigators from the Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, and Jamestown Police Department executing a search warrant at 10925 Dennison Road.
Located in the residence at the time of the search were Joshua Vanbuskirk, 33, of Forestville and Franklin Silvagnia, 25, of Silver Creek.
As a result of the search investigators said they seized 14.8 grams of crack cocaine, 12.79 grams of fentanyl, scales and packaging material for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $1,055. Both Vanbuskirk and Silvagnia were charged with four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled Substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
Vanbuskirk and Silvagnia were both transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned by the Centralized Arraignment Program.
