Man charged after ruckus at hospital
A patient at Brooks-TLC Hospital in Dunkirk is facing charges after an incident Monday afternoon in the emergency department.
Daniel J. Jennings, 42, was charged with felony second-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree harassment.
City police say at about 2 p.m., they responded to a call of a patient attacking staff. Upon arrival its was reported that, Jennings had allegedly thrown a vital sign monitor, broke a computer monitor and a wooden cabinet. It was also alleged that Jennings had grabbed a member of the hospital staff by her arms.
Jennings was taken into custody for the above listed charges and released on an appearance ticket.
