Repeat offender pleads guilty to new child porn charge

A Jamestown man who has been arrested for possessing child pornography in the past has again pleaded guilty to possessing the sexually explicit illegal material. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that 24-year-old Brandon G. Uber, 24 pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo to possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, and a fine of $250,000. Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Gunman killed driver, self in Perrysburg, troopers say

PERRYSBURG --- The deaths of two individuals on Monday is being classified as a murder-suicide by New York State Police. At approximately 11:27 p.m. Monday, troopers from Collins responded to the area of Whites Drive for a shooting in the town on the Cattaraugus Indian Territory. An investigation determined Tylin O. Thomas Jr., 18 of Perrysburg was standing on Whites Drive outside a 2012 Buick Verano occupied by Ryan A. Mohawk, 23, Perrysburg, the driver and Caleb H. Stafford, 23, of Perrysburg. PERRYSBURG --- Two males who were residents of the Seneca Nation, ages 18 and 23, died in a shooting in the town of Perrysburg late Monday. State Police said Tuesday morning the shooting happened off Whites Drive on the Cattaraugus Reservation of the Seneca Nation of Indians. Fredonia man going to prison for selling drugs that led to death

A Fredonia man who sold drugs that caused a man in Celoron to overdose and die is headed to prison. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced that 38-year-old John Wallace Buchanan, who was convicted of narcotics conspiracy, was sentenced to serve 11 years and three months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J.
