Access Channel 5 announces programming for July 22-28

Access Channel 5 has announced its programming for the week of July 22-28.

This week’s Chautauqua lecture is Jonathan Shay, “Moral Injury in War,” at 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will feature Jon Weston from Panama Rocks as his guest. The program airs live county-wide on various access channels at 9 a.m. on Saturday only, then repeats at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Access Channel 5.

Chautauqua People features guest Andrew Borba, MFA, artistic director of the Chautauqua Theater Company and assistant professor of Theater at the University of California, Irvine. The show is hosted by John Viehe and will air at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Fresh Perspectives, hosted by Gail Erb, will have Jackine and Alicia Cannon talking about trips to Spain at 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.

All programming starts on Saturday and runs through July 28.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.

The programs may also be viewed after the initial airing at the station’s website, http://accesschautauquacountytv.org.
