Stockton woman charged in DWI after accident

CHAUTAUQUA — A Stockton woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after her vehicle was found in a ditch on Friday evening.

County sheriff’s deputies report responding to Elm Flats Road around 8:30 p.m. and locating the owner and operator of the vehicle at a nearby residence. Amy L. Crowe, 40, deputies say, was operating her vehicle in an impaired state.

She was taken into custody and charged with DWI Per Se, DWI Common Law, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, moving from lane unsafely, operating motor vehicle while using mobile phone, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Crowe was processed and released with tickets for the above charges. She will be in the Town of Chautauqua Court later answer to her charges.
