Mayville pair charged with meth possession
MAYVILLE — A suspicious situation on Barnes Road led to the arrest of a pair of village residents who were found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported today that an investigation around 11:30 p.m. Monday revealed that Caitlyn M. Reardon, 18, and Joshua J. Northrop-Dowdall, 28, were both found to be in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia. Reardon was additionally found to be operating a motor vehicle on a state highway while ability impaired by drugs. Reardon and Northrop-Dowdall were arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
Reardon and Northrop-Dowdall were both released with appearance tickets and are to be arraigned by the Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.
