Dunkirk man facing drug, weapon charge
SILVER CREEK — A Dunkirk man has been charged after a vehicle stop this morning.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report a vehicle was pulled over for a traffic infraction around 2:20 this morning in the area of Howard Street and Lake Avenue. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as 27-year-old Joseph M. Gill.
A subsequent investigation led to the Gill being charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Gill was processed and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail pending Centralized Arraignment.
