Jackson Center’s second annual ‘Perfect Pairing’ benefit Oct. 26

JAMESTOWN — On Saturday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m., The Robert H. Jackson Center, 305 E. Fourth St., Jamestown will host its second annual “A Perfect Pairing,” a benefit for the Jackson Center’s upcoming educational programs.

The evening will feature a four-course autumnal meal created by Marlene Lucas to complement the wine carefully selected for each course. The wine pairings will be provided and explained by Samuel Whitmore, certified sommelier and owner of Bag & String Wine Merchants in Lakewood. The full menu is available on the Jackson Center’s website event page. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event, with the winners announced by the end of the evening.

Admission is $50 per person. Early and advanced registration is required and encouraged by Friday, Oct. 19. The event sold out in 2018. Register online at https://www.roberthjackson.org/event/a-perfect-pairing/, in person at the Jackson Center, or by phone at 483-6646.

The Center’s fund-raising efforts ensure the Center can continue to provide relevant and topical educational programs such as our Young Readers program, Continuing Legal Education seminars and the International Humanitarian Law Roundtable, along with numerous other recurring and new initiatives.

The Center invites and engages students of all ages, scholars, educators, national officials and international dignitaries to analyze contemporary issues of peace and justice through the lens of Justice Jackson’s body of work.
