ANGOLA — The issue of solar power in the town of Evans and village of Angola will once again be discussed by Bill Henry. Henry is the chairman of the Friends and Neighbors Advocating Better Green Living.

The meeting will take place today at 1 p.m. in the town of Evans Senior Center located at 999 Sturgeon Point Road in Derby.

Henry will discuss the solar data he has collected from his own solar system installed on his home 12 years ago. He is encouraging anyone who might be interested in obtaining solar for their own home to attend this presentation.

The next Town of Evans Board meeting is at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 in Evans Town Hall located at 8787 Erie Road.
