Entrepreneurial workshop Monday at incubator

The Fredonia Technology Incubator continues its Entrepreneurial Education Program with guest speaker Devon Goffman. This seminar is designed to assist entrepreneurs in creating their own business and creating their own success.

The workshop will be held Monday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fredonia Technology Incubator located at 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited therefore, registration is required. To register for this event please go to https://devongoffmanseminar.eventbrite.com. Registration link is listed on the FTI homepage and Facebook page. For more information, contact FTI at 680-6009 or incubator@fredonia.edu.

The workshop will focus on Mr. Goffman’s journey as a professional actor and how he stumbled upon a bigger purpose, how to diversify your business, what it is like being an arts entrepreneur, and how to connect with other people and be an asset to the community.

“In my class, I don’t teach networking. My advice is to be a good human being. Be an active member of the community. If you can default to being a genuine person with integrity in your life, the network will build itself.”

The workshop will be conducted by Devon Goffman, BFA in Music Theatre State University of New York at Fredonia. Mr. Goffman is a current actor, creative director, motivational speaker, and acting coach
