North Shore Arts Alliance seeks applications for 2020 Art Trail and Gallery Tour

The North Shore Arts Alliance invites artists located in Chautauqua County to apply to become a member of the 2020 Art Trail Open Studio and Gallery Tour. The 12th annual tour will take place Memorial Day weekend, May 23-24, 2020 throughout Chautauqua County. Participating artists should be available to visit with the public either at their own studio or at a participating gallery hub from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Free to the public, the Art Trail Open Studio and Gallery Tour showcases professional artists from the region whose work represents a variety of media: painting, photography, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, fiber arts, wood, and mixed media. It allows artists to meet new collectors in a unique, personal setting and is a strong relationship-building event that increases awareness of local artists while offering exceptional art for sale. The event also highlights the local landscape and attractions that offer artists inspiration including Chautauqua County’s vineyards, villages, rolling hills and lake shores.

The Art Trail is a juried event with artists chosen based on the quality and craftsmanship displayed in their work. For an application, artists should write to arttrailcoordinator@gmail.com. The application deadline is Friday, Nov. 15.

The North Shore Arts Alliance is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit co-operative marketing, promotional, and membership organization working on behalf of artists in Chautauqua County. The organization seeks to foster an environment where art strengthens the county’s image, economic vitality, and quality of life.
